Socialism and Feminism

The relationship of socialism and feminism has been an interesting one. On the one hand, opponents often tried to redbait feminists and feminism as a way to diminish support. On the other hand, some feminists were also socialists, emphasizing the need for class equality to either accompany or take priority over sex equality.
