Victims of the Salem Witch Trials

There were many victims of the Salem witch trials of 1692. Twenty-four accused witches died, 19 were hanged, one was pressed to death, and four died in prison. See below and on the following pages for an alphabetical listing with more information on each.

• June 10: Bridget Bishop was hanged
• July 19: Sarah Good, Elizabeth How, Susannah Martin, Rebecca Nurse and Sarah Wildes were hanged
• August 19: George Burroughs, Martha Carrier, George Jacobs Sr., John Proctor and John Willard were hanged
• September 19: Giles Corey was pressed to death
• September 22: Martha Corey, Mary Eastey, Alice Parker, Mary Parker, Ann Pudeator, Wilmott Reed, Margaret Scott and Samuel Wardwell were hanged
• Died in prison: Lydia Dustin, Ann Foster, Sarah Osborne and Roger Toothaker
