by Kathleen Thompson, Darlene Hine -- a more narrow focus than the others but it covers territory that is too often neglected.6. The American Women's Almanac : An Inspiring and Irreverent Women's History
by Louise Bernikow -- a look with a heavy dose of humor, with many snippets of historical facts.
