Carol Starre-Kmiecik: Famous American Women
Ohio-based actress portrays such notable women as Dorothy Fuldheim, Amelia Earhart, Susan B. Anthony, Clara Barton, Clare Booth Luce, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Mother Elizabeth Seton.

Dovetale Productions
Oklahoma-based Laurette Willis does workshops, one-woman shows and is also available to speak. Topics include women of the Bible, Susanna Wesley, women of the oil fields, women of the frontier and women of the Civil War.

Minnesota History Center: History Players
The Minnesota Historical Society features different characters from Minnesota history each day. Read about some of the players, and contact the museum for more information.

The Quotable Woman
Elaine Partnow, author of the excellent book The Quotable Woman, also does living history portrayals. These include Emily Dickinson, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Hispanic women, key American "movers and shakers," and others. Details for each program are included on this site.

Sally Roesch Wagner
Dr. Wagner, a pioneer in the academic world of women's studies, offers workshops and historical performances. Appearing as Elizabeth Cady Stanton or Matilda Jocelyn Gage, she offers a perspective on the woman suffrage struggle in America. Another option: Elizabeth Cady Stanton meets Frederick Douglass, as they differ about suffrage priorities after the Civil War.

Susan B. Anthony
Sally Matson, a Massachusetts-based actress and educator, offers portrayals of Susan B. Anthony.

Women in History
Ohio-based group presents plays, tailored to the audience, depicting dozens of notable American women.

Women of Heart and Steel
A project of the Women and Labor History Theatre Project in Chicago, this performance on "Chicago women stepping out of the pages of history" can be arranged for schools and unions.
