Every year, calendar publishers issue hundreds of calendars. Many featuring women are pin-up calendars and their modern heirs. This list, however, is selected by looking for inspiration from women of history. Some feature actual women of history and notable women today, and others feature paintings or photographs. Many feature quotations -- some inspirational, some quirky and sassy. Some feature birthdays of notable women and other events in women's history. I've tried to select a variety to suit a variety of interests and tastes.
