Coretta Scott King, 1965

At "Stars for Freedom" Rally

Coretta Scott King spoke at the "Stars for Freedom" Rally in 1965, which was held on the last night of the historic march from Selma to Montgomery in favor of voting rights. The next day, Coretta Scott King and her husband, Dr. Martin Luther King, jr., led the marchers, 25,000 strong, to the State Capitol Building, where Dr. King gave his "How Long, Not Long" speech.
