Anna Fisher (August 24, 1949 - ) was selected by NASA in January 1978. She was a mission specialist on STS-51A. After a family leave from 1989 - 1996, she returned to work at NASA's Astronaut Office, serving in a variety of positions including Chief of the Space Station Branch of the Astronaut Office. As of 2008, she was serving in the Shuttle Branch.
