Dr. Sally K. Ride is one of the flight's mission specialists. Frederick H. Hauck is pilot for the crew. The station pictured is located on the aft flight deck of the actual spacecraft and the windows allow direct view of the long cargo bay. The MDF is locate in the Shuttle mockup and integration laboratory.
