Not all the "legends" at The Legends Ball were famous in the 60s and earlier. Shaun Robinson was born in 1962, and was among the younger "legends" honored.

Robinson, from Detroit, Michigan, graduated from the historically black Spelman College. She began her career as a television reporter in Detroit, later worked in Milwaukee, Austin and Miami before she began working for Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor. She co-hosted for NBC in covering the Tournament of Roses Parade in 2011 and 2012, and has hosted a show on TV One network for Access on "Black Hollywood."
