This court was appointed to try the accused still in jail in and near Salem after the Court of Oyer and Terminer was disbanded. The Superior Court of Judicature met in Salem Village, Ipswich, Boston and Charlestown to hear cases. Of the 31 trials of accused witches held by this court, only three of the accused where found guilty.
