Hillary ClintonHillary Clinton, who had a career as an attorney while her husband was governor of Arkansas, gave up that career during her time as First Lady. At the end of those eight years, she moved to New York and ran successfully for Senator from that state. In 2008, Hillary Clinton ran for the Democratic nomination for US President, and though she lost that nomination to Barack Obama, President Obama nominated her for Secretary of State. She has said that she will not continue in that office during President Obama's second term. |
