    1854: Julie Rive-King born (pianist, composer)

    1857: Gertrude Horn Atherton born (writer)

    1864: Elizabeth Sprague Coolidge born (philanthropist)

    1877: Irma Rombauer born (cookbook author)

    1880 or 1881: Elizabeth Roberts born (writer)
