Email Your Guide

Like all the Guides at About, I'm a real person.

If you have a question about women's history, first try the subject index and list of recent articles on this site -- you might try the search box on this page, too. Post your question on the Women's History Forum so that others who might have the information can reply there or send it to you via email.

The nature of women's history is that much information requires digging for it and putting together information that may be found in surprising places, so try looking for related information. If you still don't find what you're looking for, you can post on the Women's History Forum which I check at least weekly. Nobody will do major individualized research or answer long lists of questions, and certainly nobody can write a research paper for you.  But other questions are often answered, if not by me, then by other forum visitors.

I realize the ads can be annoying, but they do keep the site free for you and allow me to get paid for the time involved in maintaining and building the site. As a Guide, I'm not involved in decisions regarding the content, frequency, or format of the advertising on About. If you'd like to express your displeasure with the ads, the best way to get your message to the appropriate parties is by filling out the customer care feedback form at: http://womenshistory.about.com/gi/pages/pform.htm

Thanks for taking the time to write.

If you'd like to send suggestions for the site or other comments, you can reach me via email -- please be patient, I'll get back to you in a few days.
