Who are the most popular 100 historical women on the Internet - the top 100 as measured by Net searches for each one?

Can you guess who will appear in the top 10, before you read them?

This list is meant to be an interesting indication of current popularity of notable women (not a rigorous scientific study). I hope it will be interesting to see where women of the past meet women of today. I think you'll find some listings that are surprising!

A few of the women who did not make the top 100: Mary Todd Lincoln, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Queen Nefertiti, Germaine Greer, Betty Friedan, Nellie Bly, Andrea Dworkin, Madam C.J. Walker, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Raisa Gorbachev.

Now, for the list -- beginning with the end of the list, those women who just made it.
