Fifty Years of Progress?

In 1893, Lucy Stone reflected on the progress of woman over the previous 50 years -- progress that Stone herself had been part of. I find it interesting to see what a woman of that time thought was most important. Would we emphasize these same changes, looking back on that same time period (1843-1893)? What would you emphasize today about the last fifty years (1962-2012)?
