In truth, we all have an awful lot to be thankful for. No matter what problems we are dealing with at the moment.
Thanks for today’s lesson. It’s important to remember where the holiday got its start and that it is more than turkey and the trimmings.
I never knew there were that many verses to “Over the River…” We’d have driven my Mom batty with them in the car if we’d know that when my sis and I were kids!
We can all be thankful to Sarah Josepha Hale for giving us our holiday.
