History of Misogyny

On the Issues Online Magazine's "Cafe" section has a history of misogyny that I found fascinating and illuminating. No, not a history of the attitude itself of hatred towards, dislike of, or disrespect of women -- the history of that is quite a bit older -- but rather the history of the word "misogyny" itself. It goes back to 1615 and some outrage over an article that many read as putting down women.
