A beautiful and evocative photo. Thanks!
The vision that is the Statue of Liberty never ceases to stir emotion in me. As a first-generation American, some of my people arrived at her feet from the Old World. She is a constant reminder of the sacrifices people made to become Americans and have a better life. They came here for a better life and we better make sure that the better life stays here!
Beautiful shot - can’t help but feel inspired by that image.
You took a good photo. Pretty as a post card.
I can’t help but wonder how many American woman who rvre this statue also at the sametime beat thesleves up emoitionally for having a similarly staunch physique Heer concealing attire is revealing of her strength.
Stunning photo, Jone, and I enjoyed the slide-show it links to.
Sukhmandir, thank you for your comments. I’ll remember that the next time I’m looking at that statue in reverence.
Lady Liberty is always an inspiring sight!
What an imposing personality she has!
She embodies strength and a far-reaching overview of life.
What an inspirational shot. I feel very patriotic when I see the American flag flying near Lady Liberty and she makes me feel ever so blessed, honored and proud to be an American girl!
