The Guardian (UK) selected what it considered the "100 Greatest Novels of All Time" on Sunday. Included were women writers Jane Austen, Mary Shelley, Emily Bronte, Louisa May Alcott, George Eliot, Virginia Woolf, Nancy Mitford, Flannery O'Connor, Muriel Spark, Elizabeth Taylor, Toni Morrison, Beryl Bainbridge, Marilynne Robinson, and Angela Carter.
