Roman Archaeology
Friday September 12, 2003
I've just discovered a Roman Archaeology "blog" -- via About's Ancient History Guide, N. S. Gill, and rogueclassicism -- with some articles of special interest to those interested in Roman women's history and the goddesses of Roman times. Here are a few postings from August, 2003, for instance:
• Did Boudicca's Army Desecrate the Graves of the Vanquished in Londonium? and earlier: Exploding the Boudica Myth
• Hadrian and wife statues unearthed at Sagalassos
• Efforts Mount to Save 1st Century Venus Statue
• Ancient Women Use Dung, Grease as Makeup
